Overlay feature

I recently discovered that in hoi4, if you press ctrl+f10 you get a map of your hoi4 world. I thought it looked very familiar to the ages of conflict workshop scenarios covers, so I thought maybe I could convert it to an ages of conflict scenario. Short answer, I couldn't. But I thought that if I could overlay it, I could get the scenario pretty easy. This would speedup the scenario-making process a lot, and I think a lot of users could use it. So what are your thoughts?

Barring any official addition like this (and I don't know how easy or difficult it would be to add), what you could do as a workaround is to have it in photoshop (or similar) as an overlay for your map file and draw borders in in mountains or something, which you can then switch to regular land while you edit the scenario.
