More Aggressive Marauders plz
Unless i'm mistaken, I recall early in AoW4's life that marauders used to attack the city center and occupy it unless you stopped them, now all they do is raid territory, they won't even take Outposts. This feels aimed to hinder the player more than simulate rogue forces around the map.(as AI's have an artificially assisted economy and don't really need income from provinces)
Previously the AI(and Player) was punished for unprotected expansion by losing the city they founded and left undefended, this encouraged being active against Marauder Spawners to secure your cities and punished rapid careless expansion. Now it seems there's no deterrent for such decisions. It's frustrating to see the Marauders ignore the AI's territory(and the AI ignore the swarm of Nests around them), instead choosing to travel halfway across the map to my settlement to cut my economy short or force me to move my forces back home to defend. It feels like it's just more anti-player bias to artificially make the game harder in an unfun way.
Is there a mod to address this by making AI attack Marauders and their Nests while also making Marauders less willing to send Invasions across the map and actually attack AI?
Also is there or is anyone willing to make a mod that reverts Marauders back to being able to occupy Cities?
