Collection Branding Image

Has anyone else had a problem uploading a branding image to a collection you created? I spent two frustrating days with Steam support trying to find a solution to this problem only to be told they don't have a fix for it.

Huh? I'm just trying to upload a branding image to a collection I created. The criteria seems to be an image that is 195 px X 195 px with a file extension of .jpeg or .png or .gif. I've tried them all through the Steam website and the client with no luck. Anyone else having this problem or knows what the solution might be?

I finally figured out how to solve this for myself. I created a new collection and uploaded the thumbnail BEFORE I did anything else to build the collection and it worked. I also uploaded an image that was not square and was a 590 x 350 px .gif file. So it seems the problem is trying to add a branding image after you have already created the collection. I hope this helps anyone else tearing their hair out trying to upload a thumbnail to an existing collection.
