I guess effective
I just want machineguns to pair better with S lasers, extending that to flamethrowers would give light mechs a chance to survive using thoses, anything so much as breathes on you and you're dead, or at the very least you're severely mangled....
as an aside, am I the only one feeling like the best part of this game is the early game when we can use light mechs and NOT die guaranteed ?

Can tweak it a bit if needed.
Small Pulse, Flamers and MGs extended effective range to 150m with damage falloff up to maximum range at 225m, just like Small Lasers.
And no, not only one. I really prefer Lights and Medium gameplay. The early stages offer the best fights.
