-Modbot has existed with this game for multiple years. It has great reputation and credibility with the community and official game devs. Again, nobody has ever had anything malicious happen to them because of modbot.
-One of the modbot devs (X606) has been on the official dev team for the game for around two years now
-The official game devs have occasionally showcased mods of their game from modbot on their youtube channel, and they acknowledge and support modbot
-I'm not sure what you mean by how malware can exploit the game's code that has been altered mod managers. Why would malware even want to exploit such a niche game's code that has been altered by mods? What even type of malware does that, and what does malware even get from doing that?
If you're still paranoid of modbot being malicious, literally go anywhere in the community and ask if modbot is malicious. There's your answer. How much more undeniable proof do I need to show you to prove that this isn't a malicious mod manager?
Why would I ask someone who is not a cybersecurity expert? Someone who thinks that if you don't see anything bad happening on your screen, you have no malware? Of course people are going to say it is safe due to wishful thinking because they already installed it and know nothing about cybersecurity
You don't need to be a cybersecurity expert to tell that something on the internet is malicious? The point of asking other people in the community is to give the thing that they agree on more credibility.
The modbot mod launcher is safe. I've already said the major points that make it undeniably credible and safe that you ignored in your response. End of discussion.
You can continue being stubborn in your own flawed logic or just accept the established fact that modbot is safe.
