last i checked missile lasers become very inaccurate when the controller is on a turret, rather than in the hull connected via transmitter.
this might also affect remote guidance
Lasers might be inaccurate on turrets that move too much because the turret moves the laser away from its target (maybe). Lasers get inaccuracy from smoke screens.
The only things affecting remote guidance is processing power and detection. They can also be jammed by ECM jammers.
