This is the only game that I know of where mods aren't immediately applied when subscribing to them. In order for mods to be available to use you must open your game and wait a short bit (depending on size) before it shows up in the dropdown menus.

However, on the flip side I just unsubscribed to roughly 40 mods ranging from tuning and gamemodes to maps and cosmetic options. I played for about 30-60 minutes afterwards (even restarted the game prior) and even today all of those mods still clutter my in-game dropdown box and map selection screen.

Why are my unsubscribed mods still available as options in-game?
