Show Us Your Map Progress Here!
This is a thread where you can show other mapmakers the maps and campaigns that you all have been working on. Feel free to show as much or as little as you want. Some of us have been working for so long that I think seeing other's progress will help motivate us aswell. :steamhappy:

Please use spoilers/spoiler tags if you're going to share a lot of information about your map!

So I'll be the first to post here. I am currently working on a campaign which will have puzzles ranging from medium to very difficult. Currently I am still prototyping puzzles, but I have worked a little bit on the actual maps.

Here are the pictures of both the prototypes and the unfinished campaign maps. SPOILERS[imgur.com]

Im working on new mechanics for my team's big project. I can tell something. Confirmed mechanics are: bots-enemies, deadful floor, railCart.
Now Im making a map, which demonstrate new mechanics)

No new mechanics in mine, only existing mechanics.

First picture is the eventual puzzle layout I'll have, currently I've finished 8 (1 bottom, 1 left, 2 joined top, 3 coming off a courtyard in the top-left and 1 in the lake in the middle)

Second picture is from a vantage point I've put on a large hill.

Third picture is of the underwater puzzle (still needs terrain work and decorating). Fun fact: You can drown if you're underwater too long, despite being a fancy robot.

In addition to the 8 sigils there are plenty of stars to get (along with a star ending of some sort), so far there are 4 and I plan on planting a couple more around the place, along with 1 easter egg.

If I ever end up actually finishing this world with the Rome theme, I'll be making another one with the medieval theme.

Awesome, Asdolg! I'll be looking forward to what you guys are making. Must be pretty big if it's a team project.

Viribus,I like what you've got so far. I also had the idea of an underwater puzzle, but decided not to. I'm glad that someone is putting that idea to use! It seems that you have some interesting ideas for puzzles. I really like how in the top part of the map you have two different puzzles with the same layout. Looks good!
Hey, I didn't notice this was here. This is now a kind of on-and-off thing, but I hope that at least THIS gets released.

Now as a map that's making fun of moronic design, this might not sit well with everyone reading this post. If you ever decide to recommend this map, treat it like a serious creation.

Nice, good to see that you're working on something still, main-gi!

So, it's time to report about our progress =)

I already made script for controlling kamikaze-bot. And yes, he will do the same thing that serious sam's kamikaze does. Run to the player and explode =P
But I didnt decided yet what model I'll make for him. At first I wanted to just give him mines in hands, then I tried to change his head. Maybe you'll help me to make the right decision?))

Also I made rail cart. It wasn't hard, but I didnt created a good model for it. Now it looks like prototype-DLC's models:

Deadly floor isn't even in progress, but I dont think it will be hard.

Cool stuff! I think you should go with the headless robot holding two mines. It looks very menacing. Maybe get rid of the neck, also? Man that will be an interesting mechanic in the talos principle
So in the script, one of the kamikaze robots goes up to you and talks to you about your favorite simple games and plays Minesweeper with you and that's the ending and everybot lives happily ever after!
