Mod Help
So I wanted a mod that removed the limit on the number of population buildings. (academy, court, forum, mill). I also wanted a mod that removed the scaling gold cost of province upgrades.

I looked around a bunch, and I couldn't find one, so I tried making one, but I'm having a bit of a problem.

When I modify the files directly, it works, but when I take the modded files, and put them in the appropriate mods file, it completely ignores them. I've tried uploading to steam, and playing a different computer, but that' doesn't help.

Any Ideas?

If explaining is too hard, and you'd rather make one of those mods, that'd work for me too, just let me know what you title it.

All I can assume from what you said is that you aren't putting them into the correct folders.

So, how do I make sure I am putting them into the correct folders? What are the correct folders?

I think you're right, but I have no idea how to fix it, or where I should be putting them. I'm putting them in the folder that the launcher made for my mod, but that is in a different place from my game files since steam stores the game files, and mod files in different directories.

Say you create the mod "Limitless"
The game creates the folder in imperator/mod/limitless
If you were to modify 00_default in province_ranks then the file would be located at imperator/mod/limitless/common/province_ranks

Feel free to link references to what you have if you think it looks right.

thanks, I wasn't including the common file, I'll have to see if that fixes it.

Thankyou, this worked, and my mod is working now. (atleast on my own computer.)
