Looking for a Death Row mod.
I do not want to make the choice, rather, I'd like the use of CCTV cameras, witnesses, snitches, etc. To be used in an actual courtroom set up on location to determine if prisoners are guilty of murder or not. If so, they're properly sentenced and, if enough violations occur, they're sentenced to death. When they're sentenced, they'll start of at 80 or 90% clemency, a lot of reviews, etc. A sort of off balance because, logically, you could give the judge a kickback for certain problem prisoners. Or, in essence, it's designed to make something that can remove problem prisoners without using cheese much less reliable. They might be granted life, and thus the cycle continues, EXCEPT they loose a trait. IE: Loss of good traits first, then moderate, then bad ones. Eventually, they may just become a genuine dude who sees the error of their ways. The whole point is that I just want something that fits in the lore and doesn't leave people just murdering about with practically no punishment, which heavily breaks immersion for me.
This whole system should be expensive to set up, but likewise sustain itself provided a genuinely guilty prisoner is executed by providing a much larger reward.

No such mod exists. But since you mentioned the "lore", the lore is that this stuff happens off screen already without your input.

In what wacky, zany, inane world does murder only add two years, max? Shouldn't it be an additional life sentence, or, you know, a death sentence?

Seriously bro.

If you notice sentence adjustments, as far as I'm aware, this is the only thing that can actually increase the time someone is in the prison, unless hidden game mechanics were never explained. The max increase is two years, after some research in the tech tree. Likewise, given that there IS death row, it does still boggle the mind that you can't have a prisoner be upgraded to death row off screen if there is a hidden mechanic. Because I guess our prisons are being built in Africa instead of a modern country as it is heavily implied that the prisoners no longer have any rights. At all. In the US, one prisoner murdering another is considered an offense that often earns either the death sentence, or another life sentence. It's worse if a prisoner murders the staff, yes, but the point I'm trying to make is that there doesn't seem to be any changes beyond an extension of two years.
I am literally complaining about a perceived oversight. Prisoners that have committed murder, on camera, witnessed by guards as well, often don't get more than two years thrown on.

Ok I just tested and got someone's sentence adjusted to an extra 100 years for a few staff murders after adjusting punishments to max.

The sentence adjustments are probably set up too leniently by default.

I didnt have time to look in depth but I think the 2 years max thing was smth else. The max increase seems to be 10 years for murder and another 10 for serious injury. Then a separate increase for attacking staff.

Edit: Not what u requested, but...

I believe it is kind-of a thing.

I had a prisoner in my prison for 3 counts of murder as well as other stuff. He was in for ~140 years which is a life sentence since I have the free for life dlc. He had other charges too but that's not important. Later after killing some guards, he had more counts of murder added to his convictions list as well as a 250 year sentence. So charges did get added for those offences.

I also noticed that everyone in my prison that killed someone and was moved to supermax have at least 1 murder charge. Usually people charged with murder are more likely to kill in your prison but it seems unlikely that all of them have a murder charge which means it was most likely added because they killed someone in your prison.
