Seriously bro.
I am literally complaining about a perceived oversight. Prisoners that have committed murder, on camera, witnessed by guards as well, often don't get more than two years thrown on.
The sentence adjustments are probably set up too leniently by default.
I didnt have time to look in depth but I think the 2 years max thing was smth else. The max increase seems to be 10 years for murder and another 10 for serious injury. Then a separate increase for attacking staff.
Edit: Not what u requested, but...

I had a prisoner in my prison for 3 counts of murder as well as other stuff. He was in for ~140 years which is a life sentence since I have the free for life dlc. He had other charges too but that's not important. Later after killing some guards, he had more counts of murder added to his convictions list as well as a 250 year sentence. So charges did get added for those offences.
I also noticed that everyone in my prison that killed someone and was moved to supermax have at least 1 murder charge. Usually people charged with murder are more likely to kill in your prison but it seems unlikely that all of them have a murder charge which means it was most likely added because they killed someone in your prison.
