What's The Best Campaign mod?
Okay,so I have all the enemy resources. I like want them in the campaign,so I go on the workshop. I see 3 campaign mods on the workshop. SS3:Unity,SS3: Extended, and BFE Enhanced. Which is the best (in your opinion) campaign mod to choose from the 3?

SS3: Unity is a mod that's mostly about trying to use all custom enemies from the packs.

SS3: Extended is more like an unofficial patch for the game, so it is similar to the original, just with changes that in my opinion of that time made the game better.

BFE Enhanced is more like a mod: It changes a lot more than just Extended, including enemy spawn and how the levels look and play in general. From all 3, this offers the most different experience.

Solais explained it pretty well. However unlike Unity and Extended, Enhanced does not modify any of the existing files so you can easily choose to play either the vanilla campaign or the enhanced campaign in the menu. Whereas for the other two mods, you would have to disable them everytime you want to go back to the vanilla campaign.

i personally love all 3 of them they all offer something different and great in their own ways. that being said i appreciate that i can allways have "enhanced" turned on no matter what other mods i have subrcibed to with zero mod conflicts... and then i guess i should prolly point out i did a video on a level from each of them last year. https://youtu.be/25ooCOblV6Y :happy_creep:

Actually, Extended was modified to be like that as well, though not working completely well. For some reason, having Enhanced on disables the in-level quotes from Sam, and I dunno why, as they are controlled by newly resaved scripts now. But besides that, it doesn't have any conflicts with other mods whatsoever anymore.

The only problem with the above video is that the level showcased from Extended wasn't changed that much compared to some of the others. :P

well i was tossing around some ideas for that... because there are new changes to Enhanced witth the boss fight and solais put out a his sshd extended finally... and harbinger is working on sshd unity persia (or at least he was) there is also the sshd ehanced that is one level but ive covered that one the past... so i dont really know how i would make a sequil in two differents games or if i would cover specific levels that the mod creators actually want to show off... and also make sure i know where im looking for the stuff that needs to be shown off xD rather than me guessing and leaving everyone dissapointed again :'(
