Moving the position of a room?
Maybe this is a dumb question, but I figured I'd ask. In the prototype I'm working on, I now I have a second room. However, this second room isn't exactly where I'd like it to be on screen. Is there any way of changing where the boundaries of the room are? That is, changing where the origin of a room is? I'd like to move it up, but I can only figure out how to move it down.

If I ever put my tiles in the wrong spot (and thus, the room isn't exactly where I'd like it to be on screen), does that mean I essentially have to move ALL of my tiles to where I want it to go? Thanks!

First off, you need to make sure that both rooms have the same height and width, and next off, I don't believe that rooms have origins. What you're probably trying to do is to move all the objects in the room in relation to a direction. If you put your tiles on the wrong spot, I think there's an option in the room editor to be able to shift all your objects to a relative position. That should be able to help.

Thanks! This has been very helpful. The only downside is that you you have to do this for every tile depth (and it can be super confusing if you screw something up). Still, it's handy in a pinch and probably isn't something someone would have to use too often.
No problem at all, dude. I'm glad you were able to get your issue fixed. If you need any more assistance, me and the rest of the community are here for you.

Thanks! I hope to be there for all as well, at least as soon as I can learn more! This may seem like a minor issue, but I think things like this are crucial in making the "feel" of rooms (like if you want certain rooms to feel like they're in the 'southwest' or something.
