Report a translation problem
The whole "it will cause performance issues" is a really bad reason to make it impossible rather than just put a warning on certain things or require it to be modded in. Devs tend to design games to run on fairly limited computers compared to what lots of gamers have. It's also really short term thinking given just how fast the average computer tech increases each year.
The modding community is extremely friendly and willing to go almost any mile to help out new modders, so if you are ever keen to give it a try, let me know. Otherwise, hopefully it is something we can tackle soon!
