Trying to make a mod, willing to pay for help on it.
Hello all, I can take away the mythical unit production editing the proto/techtree I don't want any civ being able to create them, what I want is something akin to the Loki Hersirs where they can summon Myth units (not really random but you get the idea) in a perfect scenario, the Norse would randommly summon units by fighting, the greeks by praying and the egiptians by having monuments, with higher favor granting higher summon frequency.

But just finding the ability that enables Hersirs to summon myth units and pasting it on other units or other gods would be enough.

Hersir myth spawns are hardcoded, you could do this via VC scripting.

I did a mockup of this in God Mixup to allow heroes of other civs to spawn myths.

Thanks Soldier, but I can remove the myth units from temples editing proto and tech, what I wanted though, is to make them spawn ramdomly (like Loki Hersirs through combat) or in another way... if only I could create something that could give Myth units in a regular interval or something like that...

You would have to script such a thing yourself, there is no proto/techtree support for this.

Well, I have no idea how to VC script, if anyone is up to the task I'm still willing to pay or trade a game for it.

This is something I will have to look into. As someone who hasn’t messed with VC scripting yet, do you have any pointers on where in your mod’s files I should look to start reverse-engineering? I’ll credit you if I ever publish anything.

It's the stuff in trigger2.

By default the VC file is basicvcnomain.xs, I edited this with some includes to some other files I think. It's been a few years since I messed with it...
