MES Drone Encounter Spawning Problems

I have been having an issue when spawning in drones that are atmospheric or ionic and both are able to spawn on a planet with gravity / atmosphere so half the time end up crashing.

Are there any commands to restrict the spawning of theses drones to planets with/without an atmosphere?

Your issue is probably antenna naming. The antenna called "MiningOperationSite" is meant to be used on planet so the drones have atmospheric thrusters. Others are based on being on the moon so those have ion thrusters.

Spaceman Spiff made a list of antenna names and drones along with environments best suited.

If its pure MES stuff, then you are probably using the antenna in the wrong environment, though I don't have documentation on MES.

Yeah my problem is pure modular encounters, so there are no antennas being used, thank you though

Then I suggest using the MES discussion or MES discord instead of here. Might be difficult because the author or MES is not doing a lot of maintaining any more.

Edit: I did find another mod that may help. I see other players having a similar issue.
