Old Realms simply will not work

I've followed in particular Red Baron's collection, I've installed the proper version, I have it all in order, I just get a massive hang after a few seconds in the startup screen that never ends. My CPU goes to 99% and just stays there. Am I being farmed for crypto here or what?

takes a while, like 10 mins for me. are you sure you're loading in the right order?

also this was only on the first time, after that went to normal load times

One of the cautions on the mod installation description says it will pause on loading for a long time. That is what is happening here.

Assuming you are serious, being "farmed for crypto" just doesn't happen on mods like this; forget the concept while you are on steam/workshop mods. (This is modifications of existing games; to get 'farmed' you generally need a fresh install of something, and it won't be a known mod like this.).
