Modifying doctrine points
Is there a way of modifying the amount of doctrine points you get per level or a way of modifying the total amount of doctrine points you have? I've looked at doctrine.xml but I couldn't find anything about it there.

I’m a bit rusty, but I suggest going into the Unit files (this is much easier with Modded units like Ares) and modifying individually how many doctrine points they have in the files, it’s technically cheating but it’s also the fastest way to progress. But that being said my knowledge of this come from pre 1.0 before doctrines so I’ll have to do a more through dig through the game files and see how you can modify said attributes, I’ll probably make a guide on how to boost progression later tonight.

Yeah, units.xml has a variable called "doctrinePointsPerSquadLevel", changing that gives more doctrine points.

Yeah I took a good gander at the changes in the files, had a lot of fun tweaking XP requirements, gear costs, and basically everything else. I honestly am not a fan of the workshop implementation, it makes finding my mods harder, so it’s more difficult to modify level requirements or gear costs. (Before the files were installed directly into the game rather than a separate steam workshop folder)
