a small grid cockpit variant were the engineers lies on their stomach and reaches forward to the controls, this would be use-full for fitting in places where a normal cockpit wouldn't.

it would be 5 long and 2 tall but could be ether 2 or 3 wide, if 2 wide it could fit in smaller spaces but if 3 it could have a large conveyor port on the bottom, not the top sense the door has to be there sense the back is too small for a door, and it should have small ports on the back and sides.

the window would work better sloping back like the cab cockpit sense the door's on top, but if it slopes forward more like the industrial cockpit you could put the cockpit on the bottom of a fighter witch would be unique, or it could just be flat.
