MercTechV2 Recommended

Hi everyone.

I'd like to play a merc game. Read that MechWarrior 5 Mercs is the best, but that you have to mod it.

Assuming the MercTechV2 Recommended collection is what is meant by that:

is it still working for the current version of the game?

And just subscribe to the mods listed there and let steam do the rest?

Sorry for the noob questions.

Or would you rather recommend another collection?

I don't know where you could've possibly gotten the idea that MerchTechV2 is a good choice considering how severely outdated it is. The latest version of that mod is called "MercTech V3 (BETA)". Hi, and thanks for your replys. I do not necessarily want to do MerchTech.

I just would like to play a good Merch game and hope for support about modding (as the reviews say "great - but only if you mod it").

So thanks for any hint, list, tutorial etc. I really appreciate any help.
