Multiplayer Yaml Issue

I have Yaml we both using the same exact mods, but as the none host I can't access yaml mechanics like changing my mechs engine core. Is this a bug, a feature, or is there some way to enable players to use yaml.

Do you have "Co-op Unlocked" and "DLC6 quickfix for Co-op Unlocked" installed?

Not necessary for that function.
But unless you're playing with the "Simple Mechlab" option on, you should be able to change things. Unless you aren't using the exact same mods (eg different versions) or alternative have been messing with load order of the mods without knowing what things actually do.
