Are there any mods that make your economy more detailed and add many more specialized resources?
I'm looking for any mods that might exist that break down basic resources into more specialized types - things that require searching for planets or asteroids that produce them, so that I have a reason not to purge unnecessary colonies towards endgame. My biggest annoyance is that nearly everything can by synthesized in huge quantities by endgame, meaning no planet is really important to my empire. That one planet that has mote deposits? Functionally useless when my ecumenopolis homeworld produces ten times as many. Minerals and food can be gotten everywhere. Alloys and consumer goods are functionally infinite on a forge world. Do any mods create a less generic economy? I want to explore planets with resources that I absolutely have to possess, or my empire will be stunted. I want a bunch of different raw mineral types that can be combined into alloys with some types offering more alloys per base resource than others, making them worth exploiting. I want different kinds of biomass with some being good for food production and others being more useful for growing organic ships. Does a mod like this exist?
