I don't think it will suprise many that the reason back then during the start of Stellaris the main reason for anticipating it was that we will finally get a modern "successor" for IMP2.
While different the game did provided a unique experience that I only felt back then when playing IMP2.

Initially I was quite sure that amongst the many other universes and games in the Sci-Fi genre will be added to the game (including IMP2).

But after many years I am quite suprised that other than mods providing the original soundtrack, there are no other mods (shipset(s), species, etc).

What do you think ?
Is there a reason for this lack of content from IMP2 or there are some other reasons that i do not know of ?
