Looking for a mod to turn off autominers in towns
I decided to try settling in Mourn, build a bunch of small wind generators and some upgraded batteries but when the wind dies down the batteries drain incredibly quickly. I considered making fueled generators but then I realized that there are 4 automatic ore miners in the town that run constantly even with a full output. If they were to shut off when full that would save 140 points of wasted power usage.
If there was a way to turn them off manually or switch off when full that would be great. I've tried looking for a mod that does that but I've not had any luck. If anyone knows of one, please let me know.

I don’t think there’s an option to make the drills automatically turn off, or to make the town itself toggle it. The closest thing you could get is probably buffing the drill to have less/no power usage.
build more power. it's all one system, can not turn things on or off that are run by the NPC

I built enough power to more than cover the power draw but when the wind dies down the batteries get overwhelmed. I was just kind of hoping someone made a mod to do this. Ah well.
yeah, there is no mod because it's not possible.
just build yourself more batteries

I knew Kenshi was brutal, but I didn't think it was this brutal. :P
Well, technically we could make the vanilla machines to draw less energy and give the player a normal drainage one to build.
Make a duplicate of the autominer that doesn't function and then set a building swap for the faction that owns the town.

This method shouldn't have any consequences if it's just for Mourn. The other two Tech Hunter towns don't have ore drills. And Mongrel only has Mongrel.

Or make a duplicate of the ore drill that doesn't use power. That would work too.
