UWE makes Simion vanish?
So I have UWE and a few other mods (I'll compile a list later if need be). One thing I noticed is every time I go into a UC city (on starting a new game) everyone in it will announce Simion is dead and the rebel farmers are falling...and the one time I went up to the Fort it was taken by cannibals?

Is this some error with mod configurations? Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a better place to ask (like UWE's page or so)?

Do you have the Living World mod? I know in the past it had an override setup in a way that other mods that track Simion's status would flip their world states prematurely.

I used to get a lot of reports about it on Reactive World. Sounds like quite a similar story here.

I was (attempting) to use RW/LW with the patches for each other and UWE. Should I just remove LW then, or is there something like swapping the mod order which can resolve this?

I did try just...turning off RW, which seems to have fixed the problem. I can do without, though I'm still curious as to whether a load order or something might fix that specific issue.

I think you should probably report it to the author of the RW/LW patch, as I'd wager that's where the conflict is here, and not with UWE.

Simion being imprisoned in one of LW's overrides is flagging him as not okay, which RW is seeing and flipping his base to cannibal controlled since it thinks he was taken out.

And then after you report it, you can make the decision to play with the bugs for a while and all three mods. Or remove either RW or LW. Load order would not help here.

What is true with all overhauls, they should be loaded to the game just before 256 recruit limit mod.

Thanks, reported to the modpage, maybe they'll see and take a crack at fixing it. Shame, I liked a lot of RW's changes.

I checked it again...just running RW and LW works fine, but adding the UWE patches for both (and UWE itself) screws up Simion's spawn...which is interesting to say the least.
And running it with just UWE/RW/LW *also* works fine...so I guess its one of those patches? Somehow?

It's most likely the Living World + UWE Patch. I tried UWE with both RW and LW, then with RW's patch, and Simion's fort appeared both times.
It was only *after* I added the LW patch that it vanished. Tried the LW + RW combo patch too, but no luck.
