How can I make a mod for HL2?

I've noticed that the workshop does not have the sounds I want so I have been trying to make the sounds and models myself. But I can't figure out how to create them.

To achieve this you must make them .vpk but a script is used where you must have added the sounds and custom mdl, check that the mdl have like 2 or 3 extensions for it to work, the sounds must have a soundcache file that is created in the game console, if you want, add me on my steam to help you.
