The game makes some areas important and others worthless by having them have either 5 holdings or 1. I got a mod to buy more holding slots.
I don't like that religions are so limited. I got a mod to give me more slots, and even more options.
After having fun, I got one to decolor the wasteland so that on paper map I know where the impassable areas and only ways through are from a distance. Others use the opposite mod to force color wastelands so if they own all of Egypt and the Sahara, it fills in the color.
So, play the game and after saying "gee, I wish..." hit the workshop.
I also suggest Elder Kings 2 and AGOT if that's your thing.
100 hours is pretty new
Yeah half those mods haven't been updated in a very long time. I do kinda suggest "Regional Immersion and Cultural Enrichment (RICE)" though because it adds some nice details to the game.
