All Trine games come with a level editor for Windows – it's the same one we use ourselves! The editors make it possible to make your own custom levels and share them with the community. Even if modding is not for you, you can still play the levels other users have created.

Note that each of the Trine games uses their own editor, so in order to play modded content for Trine 3, you will need to have Trine 3 in your Steam Library, as Trine and Trine 2 use a different editor.

The level editor and modded content are only available for Windows.


Check the below instructions for how to download and play user created content.

1. Click the mod you want to play from the Steam Workshop.
   
2. Press Subscribe
   
3. Start Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power
   
4. Press Mods Button from the game's Launcher.
   
5. Press Download for the mod you want to play
   
6. Press OK after the download
   
7. Select the downloaded mod from the drop-down menu next to the Mods button
   
8. Start the game!

To disable the mod just choose the option None from the drop-down menu.

  These videos are made for the editor for Trine Enchanted Edition, but most of the features are the same in Trine 3's editor. The videos are an excellent way to get started on the editor basics.
