Isometric graphics
SRR has a 'Perspective' and 'Orthographic' mode. From a technical standpoint, how does the former work? Aren't all the environmental art 2D pre-rendered sprites? Thanks.

Yes, they're all 2D sprites. The two camera modes affect where the sprites are positioned on the screen. With Orthographic, they're placed in "fixed" positions. In Perspective mode, they essentially shift in the X-Z plane as you pan the camera, with more pronounced offsets the higher the Y position. The effect is most obvious on maps with tall buildings while panning the map.
