I need help fine tuning rpgo settings....
I want it where I can chose the squadie's first specialization (perks,traits, the passives that build a squaddie) when they promote and also chose future ones. I try origins and commander's choice but that doesn't work it still choses the first trait without me being able to, after the first battle. Is it normally that I can't chose the first trait? That's alright too I can build from the character's first trait but I would like to be sure I can't ever pick their first and rest of their traits first.

For example when a soldier got promoted she had "Pysonic COnduit" as an ability, or trait, or sepcialization what ever it's called. I would have rather seen that as an option in a list of abilities I could chose from. But no matter what setting I put it as (no conflicts, including the promotion screen mod that caused conflicts and all classes but universal soldier are removed/blocked) I'd rather be able to chose their traits as the trait aquisition opportunity appears instead of the game chosing for me. It does not make good decisions at all and I haven't set anything to "random" but is random meaning it lists random ones that I Chose from? I don't know. Experimenting shows me no matter what the first trait is chosen for me, I want that to not be so I haven't played a game that does that after the first mission. And I use the alternative mod loader/launcher. I don't think I'm grasping the mod conceptually. Like what does combined mean? Does random mean randomly chosen? Or a list and I chose from the randomly generated list?
