tldr; Old SSD might cause the problem. Installing the game into another HDD might fix it.

For few days, I've been trying to figure out why mods won't load for me. Both the game's launcher and AML found the mods I had subscribed from workshop, yet nothing would load up. Not even the text at the right corner where the current version of X2CommunityCore should read.
I tried all the guides I could find over here and through the internet, but nothing worked.
Then it hit me, something from the depths of my memory. SSD. Uninstalled and redownload(could have just transferred to another hdd to save time) to a basic old brick. And what do you know, they load up now!
Now, I don't know if this is just my SSD, but I did remember that back when Elden Ring came out, there were multiple reports of games not loading if installed into an SSD.
