I think I saw a video of a mod that just places doors on walls. Even worked with CodeLock. No idea where I saw it or what is was called, but I did check it on the workshop and it was there.

MoreDoors by Jest -can't link because phonefagging on Steam app. It's not supported any longer though.

That mod is long outdated, and unsupported, and the "replacement" mod, called "Even More Doors" was pulled from the workshop when the Game Developers perma-banned the Author for threatening to reverse engineer the Frostline DLC and release it to the public for free .. The mod author has offered to "sell" their mod if someone else want to bring it back, but it's based on jest's work, so they don't really have any Right to sell it .. It was a whole big thing a while back.
