I uploaded an article to the workshop and it doesn't verify, in my article I gave the links of the models I used to create my model but Steam keeps verifying and won't let me publish it, how can I fix this?

Yes, it's been stuck on that for me too for an add-on I posted at 5AM on Sunday.

In the end I ended up uploading my addon again but without the links :/

I don't know much about how to publish addons, I only know the basics and when I tried to do the text with a link, it gave me that error that they never verified the addon, at some point I will see the same addon in my account repeated like 4 times xD
Sometimes that happens, like most of the time it only take few seconds to finish verifying, but sometimes it takes hours or even longer. Yeah it's a good choice to remove links, as Valve's automatic checking system is sensitive enough with links even when the links are actually not harmful at all. You can try to update the article with links later after verification is done & your article shows up in public.

The funny part is I uploaded a L4D2 mod with the same ♥♥♥♥, and it didn't brick. It's not a link issue, it's a Valve issue.

Same, you gotta reupload it without links. It worked for me.

seems like they fixed it by now and it only took 48 hours for it to be resolved

It looks like even the automatic check system is influenced by "Valve Time" too... :steamhappy:
They already published all my addons with links, the problem is that it took so long that I had already republished the addons but without links.
