Mod subscribing and unsubscribing suddenly stopped working

The modlist does not change in game whenever I subscribe or unsubscribe from any mods. I subscribed to a couple and they didn't appear in-game, and then I un-subbed from a mod and it was still listed in the modlist.

Anything I can do about this?

Even Uninstalling and reinstalling dwarf fortress does not work. The mods in the local files are completely stagnant.

Welp, Update. Figured out the solution. Its still acting a bit weird, saying that a mod that is very much not installed is still installed, but it seems to be working.

Basically I just moved the mods under the steam workshop page into the dwarf fortress mod folder, all the while deleting all the previous mods, since if they got updated they would clearly be out of date..
