Create a new inheritance law
So, last success going for community help for my modding was a huge success. So this time, I'm going to share my ideas before I hit a roadblock, in hope someone already tackle with those, so I can save a massive amount of time.

I'm playing with culture modding and my next big idea is creating an inheritance law for that specific culture. Already took the necessary code from Gothic culture so that part of the modding is already done. But for the record, the culture tradition effect will be:

-make diligent more common (from water rituals tradition)
-unable Thalassocratic government and inheritance.

Government is going to be inspired by administrative government, the idea being to bring specific flavor of Coastal Empire to the game. However, the inheritance is gonna be custom, for both Governors and Liege, emphasing a realm which is a cross between feudal and republic, with an elected but aristocratic elite.

To do such, I don't want to use the election tools (because I don't want vassals and liege to vote) but make it similar to primogeniture, ultimogeniture, and elder succession...

With following conditions:

-Heir culture must have the cultural Thalassocratic tradition (nice loop on itself: only Thalassocratic can pass that law and only Thalassocratic characters can inherit from it)

-Heir must have the diligent trait (good flavor for Merchant Republic empire focusing on making money and developping their realm capital)

-Heir must have health at 4 or above (People would not want to vote for ailling, old or dying character)

-If possible, Heir should be close family and from the same dynasty. (That's aristocracy for you)

-Heir should be chosen for highest sum of skill ( for governing efficiency, people like competence or illusion of competence ;) )

Fallback #1

-if none qualify in close family, extended to the entire dynasty

Fallback #2

-If none qualify in the entire dynasty, the title should be inherited by liege, if it exist.

Fallback #3

-If no liege exist to inherit the title, the game should generate a new noble leader with the Peasant Leader trait, as if it was elevate by the peasant faction.

I think I already know how to do 75% of this. But any idea you may contribute to facilitate my search through the game files or to improve upon the initial idea are welcomed.
