Possibilities that come to mind.
=> Not much to do here, if they are not in your Recycle Bin. Find out who or what did the misdeed and tell them not to do that again.
=> Your files might be in OneDrive. Shut down and move files back to proper location.
=> If cloud did not spit files back, there is not much we can do. Close the cloud and restart the game.
=> Right click My Games folder and select "Properties." Remove "Read Only" option. Make sure that game and save folders are not still set as RO from their properties.
