My mods keep unloading themselves when I load a save
I don't know if unload is the right word. Let me give you an example. I have Sword of Omens weapon mod that lets me craft the, well, Sword of Omens. I crafted the weapon and saved my game.

I only just started playing the game today, all the mods are new, I played from a new game. I save the game and quit to desktop. I start the game back up, load a save, and the Sword of Omens that I crafted is not in my hand, not in my inventory, it is gone. This is happening to all of my mods in one form or another. A quest mod I have keeps telling me I got the quest, even though I'm simply loading a save. I have all the load file boxes checked in the data files section when the Launcher loads in, and I wait for it to check all the files to make sure their up to date before clicking play.

The only thing that I know for a fact works, is deleting all of the items from the Data Files section, exiting the Launcher, and then they work for some reason. I am not going to do that every time I want to play, so I need a real solution, please and thank you.

Note: I AM NOT USING SKYRIM SPECIAL EDITION I AM USING ORIGINAL SKYRIM WITH THE THREE DLCS. I'm saying this because all of the solution I do keep finding are for Special Edition which I am not using. In fact I tried to uncheck the load boxes for the DLCs but that just crashed the game outright. Only thing I haven't tried is to uninstall and reinstall the game with the DLCs. This will require me to get rid of one of the mods but this is not a big deal.

Update: okay, so after right after writing all this, I Uninstalled and reinstalled the game, this time on my computers main hard drive. I had it installed on a external hard drive I have plugged into my computer. And now all of a sudden it works. I've had no problems with the saves. For now anyway. I'm in no rush to push my luck. Can someone explain whats going on here?

Weird.
Same problem with the same game version here. ^^
The only difference is that I installed it on the same (internal but not on C:\) drive where I had it back in 2020.
It seems like I fixed it by going to
C:\Users\[whatever your username is]\AppData\Local\Skyrim and edit the "plugin.txt".

I had every (but one) mod (and only workshop-mods so far) listed twice there and since I removed every duplicate entry the problem seems to be gone for now ...
