Well I thought for a moment I had a slick idea to dock my new shuttle onto a hatch-less docking port as I don't want or need access through the mating surface.

Turns out my bot crew are too braindead to realize there is no internal access and so run around in circles the entire mission trying to repair internal components.

Are there any workarounds for that or are we forced into having internal port access?
