Tech advancing issues
Hey all, I just cant figure this out. Essentially, I want to start in neolithic and advance to the end tech wise. I have the mods 'techadvancing', 'world tech level', and tech traversal was worked into tweaks galore.

I'd also like the world to level with me but one of my main problems is that if I have the world tech level set low, once I research all the tech in neolithic, it wont let me advance. I figure because the world tech level is set to the lowest, but i thought it would go up with me because of tech advancing and or traversal.

And if i set the world level to higher, it makes all of these research projects available right from the start. I'm a tribe wearing skins and I can research solar panels.

I've fiddled with settings but I cant figure this out. If anyone has had this issue before or just knows how to solve it please let me know. Otherwise I'll just have to play other scenarios.

In the end: I want to start in neolithic and advance through the ages. I'd like the world to start in the same age but if not I'd like the higher research to be locked until I get there.

PS: I also have ignorance is bliss activated but last I played I started getting attacked by people with revolvers while I still had bows. Supposedly the mod is supposed to stop that from happening until I actually have advanced through gunpowder

If you are fine with other factions starting with more tech than you (which, given the game premise you shouldn't be a problem), then look for the mod Completely Clueless which starts you off with nothing. There are a few mods out that that can limit other factions tech, but as you found out for yourself, that kinda cripples tech over all.
