Ysetina’s history has been misinterpreted, by Cathese and Marinese historians alike. Let’s start with the 1st of four dynasty: the Khime.
Contrary to the cathese history, The Khime Dynasty was the founder of Ysetina, not a separate empire. Their rule started in the 1300s, lasting until 1689. At their height, The ‘Khime empire’ held a large swath of cathese territory, and all of modern day Laoapa, Dian, and Abezai. It didn’t last, as the 1500s saw the Cathese army win many wars, conquering a large eastern Swath. After that, the empire would decline, with various rebellions (including the one that birthed Dian) fracturing the country. The Khime would flee their homeland for cathei in 1689, leading to a warring state period.
The second dynasty, The “Ho”, were cowards. They held a small territory outside of the capital, leaving the country neglected. The rest of Ysetina and Laoapa were split into warring states, many of which would form the modern provinces. Until 1795, the country would continue to squabble, leaving it unable to stop [insert x Republic] from seizing abezai, leading to Abezai’s independence from Ysetina to this day.
The Ho period of warring states would not end by the Ho. The Mechoist Dynasty would succeed the Ho, launching a large campaign of conquering and cleansing, leading to most of country taking knee to them. Named after the religion they worshipped (Mechoism, which is forbidden by all liamist countries, Revisions, and sects), the Mechoist would operate on an utter lack of trust regarding all non-Mechoists, Especially Liamists. Religious cl**sing was common.
The end of the Mechoists came in 1815, where the modern Sung Dynasty overthrew them, with assistance from Cathei. This modern Dynasty is the modern state. Fun.
