changes the grid size for snapping
The virtual connectors, the indicators that show up on the faces, they show you where snapping will occur on traditional scalable brick sizes, once you switch to infinitely variable sizing the virtual connectors show up as the size up or down will accommodate the next connector. Since the infinitely variable sizing can be between traditional sizes up or down the distance from virtual connector to the edges can be different making bricks not line up requiring manual adjustments with the snapping off to obtain alignment/smooth surfaces.

There is also grid snapping which i believe is an annoyance rather than a help so i zero that out to turn it off, this isn't stormworks. There is grid angle snapping which isn't much better or useful. There just isn't much use for grid snapping in a situation where almost everything you do is custom everything.
Alright thanks, and yes you are right this isnt stormworks. I have built a boat in stormworks its a total hell to build it ( I was buidling a oil vesell)
