[Mod Idea/Request] Dam airlock block

I have huge dam that my beavers have to climp just to go down on the other side. It would be nice if there was a combination of levee blocks and walkways so that beavers can just take the shortcut through the wall instead of using the long way.

I just released a mod with a platform that should solve your problems. Tunnel Platform in Those Platforms mod. Acts as a platform for building above, pathable below for beavers, and as a levee with water.

There is also the Path Extension mod which adds tunnels of varying lengths.

Path extension mod has this - literally a levee with a gate in it. kinda-sorta takes up two blocks like a Sluice Gate and only allows passage in one direction.
n.b. the mod no longer contains any other tunnels as the new 3D terrain features make them redundant.
