Mods request/commission
I don't really know how to go about this, but it's a subject near and dear to my heart and I want to be able to play a representation of it in-game. I'd be willing to work out a commission of the mod should anyone see this and want to take on the project.

In the 1930s, the Cincinnati & Lake Erie railroad utilized a new type of interurban railcar. While these cars could operate as trolleys and stop within cities and towns within Ohio, even going all the way into downtown Cincinnati, they were intercity cars that would use mainline tracks and run between cities like Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and Toledo.

These cars were single cars with a parlor seating area at the rear, and were made of aluminum. They were painted in deep Cincinnati & Lake Erie Railroad crimson red.

In 1930, as a marketing event, there was a race between a Red Devil and an airplane to demonstrate the speed and efficiency of the idea of interurban railcars and their potential. You could live in Cincinnati, and commute to work in Dayton, unheard of in 1930. Press photo[web.archive.org] and of course the money shot[www.croygenealogy.com].

After the C&LE Railroad went bankrupt in the 1930s, the cars themselves were liquidated and ended up across the plains of Iowa[www.croygenealogy.com] in a new livery as well as Philidelphia[www.trainweb.org]. Of the 20 cars originally produced, 6 went to Iowa and 13 to Leigh Valley, 1 car was lost in an accident prior to C&LE dissolving.

Hi, I suggest trying the North American discord server for TpF2 since pretty much every active modder for North American rail is on there, but not so much here.

Just be aware they're all crazy busy with backlogs/waiting lists. And vehicle models are very time consuming so it's not cheap either. Cheers!
Thank you for the point in the right direction, I definitely will, I appreciate it!
