Is there a mod which allows the IMP characters to start with better equipment?

I am currently using the 'Make IMP Great Again' mod, along with the Basic Crafting Economy group of mods. But any IMP character that I create starts with really basic equipment, an UZI 9mm SMG and ammo, and a first aid kit, that's it. No sidearm, no armor, not even a knife.

I don't want to go overboard at the beginning and have my IMP decked out like The Punisher from the get-go, but maybe give him/her a few choices. JA2 1.13 had a small list of items to choose from during creation. Something like that would be nice.
