Mod Ideas
I thought I'd start a thread for Mods that people would like to see, but simply don't have the skills to create themselves. Maybe the skilled mod creaters out there already can pick up these ideas and help make them reality.

Here is what I have come up with myself:

1. Gravediggers - I think there should be a profession for the Cemetary so that graves are only dug when a gravedigger is available. They would also be the ones who could remove graves if you need to shrink the size of the graveyard or remove it.

2. Quarry and Mine filling - It would be cool if you could build a wooden structure across the top of a depleted quary, which would then allow you to build on top of it again, and act as a road for walking speed. Depleted mines could be used as tunnel entrances, which would have an exit at the nearest available spot. They would have to follow the same rules as current tunnels.

3. Upgradeable bridges - I would like to see bridges have the same upgrade option as houses, with the same mechanic. Upgrading to stone would make the bridge walking speed faster, and raise the height and spans slightly.

4. Shared Trader inventory - Many games similar to this one share the inventory of the Trader buildings, so that all the "stored" resources are tradeable from any trader building. This could be a beneficial change to the current system.

5. Upgradeable single profession buildings - There are several buildings that only hold 1 person for that profession. I would like to see a change where you could upgrade the building to a stone version that allows the building to hold another worker. This could apply to any/all single person buildings.

6. Gradeing - Sometimes when you build a road the area is flattened down. I would like to see a simple terraforming option that would allow you to flatten slight bumps at the cost of worker time to allow for city expansion on small maps.

1. a further zoom out and a 90degree camera angle.
2. the path button can toggle single paths or all paths.
3. fully disable weather effects or individual effects at start game.
4. as an alternative to grading, building built on uneven or hill side terrain are supported with stilts.
5. mines should be removed and converted to a hillside type mine like the coal and iron is.
6. a diagonal road building tool, it can still build in single squares or a zig-zag fashion, just allows user to click at one point and build a continuous road to instead of hundreds of individual placings.
7. ditch irrigation system for fields which improves yield.
8. a hologram of the finished building from start to completion to help with town planning.
9. larger houses that hold more people and improve happiness
10. super fields that have their own ploughs, horses are included and cannot be used as food, they are simply for animation effects.

Horses and carts would be pretty sweet, once you've upgraded a road to be two wide you could then use a horse and cart to move larger quatities of stuff around.

5. Farms that use live stock to help produce a higher yeild in crops and faster production

I would appreciate if someone could make a mod that will help get bigger populations, preferably one that makes nomads more common. I realise that they are an uneducated drain on food stores, but I occasionally need an influx of people after a disaster or a shortage of materials necessary for survival without enough to people to run a building to get them( i.e low food but not enough people in less important buildings to pull for a food building, or no iron for tools and noone to work the mine). I attempted to make a mod like this but the game would crash if I tried to load a game with it enabled so I'm turning to the community in hopes that someone with a general idea of how to mod without breaking a game will be able to help.

I'd like to see more animals, like pigs and turkeys. Also a bakery, and along with that, the addition of cocoa trees for chocolate and maybe sugarcane.

Realistic aging, where citizens dont age one year per season, but one year per game year.

Also, horses and wagons that allow people and goods to travel faster.
