I guess you could link the objects' positions together. I'm no expert but that's how I'd do it. Now if you want an offset or any math expression between the two, hmmm, good luck on that but you could try to look at BinaryVC3MathComponent

Probably... Take a look at CollectorArea under AreaEntities. The ObjectTrackerBoxCollectorArea seems to be what you seek.

And you can probably get some inspiration with the basketball hoop at the theme park

What property should be added to an object for it to float in water? Can it be done with a medium-sized woodcollisionhelper?

I never tried doing that actually. When it comes to dynamic objects I mostly just use ready-made objects. But I guess you could try your way with a dynamic woodcollisionhelper, if there's such a thing.
