Well the "how" is entirely up to the devs to fix. No one else can do it for them. The game still gets updated so they're around apparently. I'm surprised they haven't fixed it yet though :\

They rarely do update by now the last update was around October 2014 so its been 8 Months they are dead silent they didnt say anything just simply gone for some reason Maybe they are just making a big update or they are Making a Rise of Legends Extended Edition

Petition to steam to get it fixed. I agree, it's very annoying. It even puts me off from downloading other people's mods since I can't see a preview.
