Quest effects
Given that it appears possible to add multiple quest options to a structure, is it possible to have a quest option change the actual cost of a structure?

One of the things that has, on occasion, bugged me when dealing with the Quests has been the internal question "why do I have to choose?" If the defensive perimeter currently has the capacity to either be maintenance free or slightly more effective, why can't I choose to increase the construction cost of the structure a bit, and provide it with the resources to be both? Likewise, sometimes I'd love the option to send the engineers back to the drawing board and cut out this "extraneous" stuff and get a slightly cheaper structure that doesn't have either bonus.

Admittedly, not every pair of building choices could be expanded to include a "both" and "neither" option, but some of them definitely could, and it would make things a bit more interesting, too.

Potential impacts:
I could see the both and neither choices having strong correlations to wide or tall strategies. Wide strategies might well benefit quite a bit from having the "neither" option that reduces the cost somewhat of the structure. On the other hand, tall strategies tend to have a lot more production available, and might prefer slightly more expensive structures with both benefits.

Is this possible? And if so, would it be a fairly balanced expansion of the options?

If it is, I'd be interested. A four way split among the choices would open up tons of depth, and I like the feel of the options to boot. Like the two included standard are to certain playstyles, bookended with the Wide or Tall options.

i wonder if your idea would work with other quest mods as well? You wouldn't be impacting the choices that would be changed....just adding new ones.
