Needing some serious basic instructions
Hey there peeps.
I know there are some kind of trailheads and starter wikis here but I still dont graps the whole picture of what the heck I am doing
And I kinda need someone to take me by the hand and just explain what and why and so on.

Oh I can create myself a floor to stand on and some box to walk around (even though the box generated an error that made the editor crash when baking? uh...)

But like I have no clue how to insert water or paint the ground or slate the ground in different angles. Not even talking about tools or whatever. Everything I put in has no model and I search frantically where I insert it. When I found it I just dont know where to configure the use.

Maybe I am a lost case but if someone wants to try, here is your chance.
Thanks in advance probably :P

Press insert to place model. Press E to edit its mesh. After that, you can check the wikis, like this: http://serioussam.com/wiki/index.php?title=SED3/Hello_World

Thats what Ive been getting down to the last 2 days. The floor and the box worked properly yet after baking it with the skylight it crashed and I didnt know why I did half the things. Like for example what is this LightmapOvenModifier for. It just kinda confuses me.
I probably just mistyped something when creating the box. It gave me some error that it tried to be on the foreground and the background simulately and that doesnt work.

Assuming I just go with what the Hello World wiki gives me, what to look into next?
Like modifying the floor that its just not a plate?

I hope I dont ask too basic questions which are already answered somewhere D:

Well there's this: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/discussions/-1/627456486472610520/?appid=257510

Lightmap Oven is for when you're baking the GI (Global Illumination). If a model got that, then its surface will be baked into the lightmap, it having proper shadows and lighting.
