Metal Kitty has Audiosurf 2

idea - free for all to use

quite a few of my friends and myself whenever we have a party often pull out the dance mat - and We were thinking - how much fun it would be to dance with audiosurf...

technically this should be easy enough to modify the "Classic Mode" in Audiosurf 2 but none of us have any idea where we would begin except for the images and skin changes (which I have no photoshop experiance to do this part.

But we floated the idea about a bit and decided we would ask the community here if anyone could such a thing, as it would be a great mod to see.

The biggest problem that we think you may have with this is modding a USB Dance mat driver to work on the PC with Audiosurf, which is why we can't do it ourselves.

problems with the thoughts we had were -

This mod would need to have a dance mat and because of the driver modification it would have to be a specific one so we dismissed the idea completely in the end.

but if you are interested in the idea and fancy the challenge feel free... - or alternatively use this idea and create something new from it.

hmm... browsing on the web i found a ton of dance mats for the PC - starting at $30 so is there any reason why this wouldn't work?

modding the classic mode so that two blocks come towards you at the same time... and there would be no greys in it at all

It woulden't be too hard, like you said it's about getting the dance mat to work with the game. Which in itself is as simple as adding controller support.
