Vehicle skins and background skins

There are already some really cool vehicle skins out there, but i wish they could be used with other track skins on the fly. Any way to seperate the skins from the vehicles in the game and the workshop so you can mix and match cars and tracks?

Not a bad idea. However, I'd like to see support for more skins and modes at once. There's no scroll option, so your selection of custom content is limited.
